• March 16, Soup & Song, a “Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring” gathering at The Shattuck. Cabaret performed by P.J. Cooke, accompanied by Walt Sayre.

• December 9th, lighting of the Christmas tree on the Jaffrey Meeting House Common with caroling led by Bruce Larson followed by the annual holiday dinner at the Inn at Jaffrey Center.

2007

• July 21, VIS Annual Meeting. Catherine Seiberling Pond gave a presentation  on her book The Pantry: Its History and Modern Uses

• July 22nd: 100th Annual Meeting, Dedication of Centennial Park, Gala Dinner at the Shattuck

• July 23rd: 100th Annual Meeting at Melville Academy followed by a clambake.

2004

• Meetinghouse Birthday Party. Thursday, June 17, 2004, 5 p.m. Celebrate the raising of the frame on the day of the Battle of Bunker Hill, 1775.

* "Hidden Treasures" (flea market). Saturday, October 9, 2004, 8 a.m.- Noon. At the Horsesheds behind the Jaffrey Meetinghouse, Route 124, Jaffrey Center.

* Lighting of the Village Christmas Tree. 5 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2004. Oribe Barn, Route 124, Jaffrey Center. Followed by caroling, socializing and a village dinner at The Inn at Jaffrey Center.

* Spring and Fall cleanups

Publications: The Jaffrey Center Village Improvement Society (brochure, 2002).

Additional Information: Artifacts in the Melville Academy are currently being recataloged and inventoried using Past Perfect software. This project should be completed by 2004.
